I hope you don't think I'm not aware
that perhaps there's something 'going on'
I'd like to spend more time with you
but I'm unsure
and insecure

I should just tell you all I think
when I lie and daydream about you
I'm not too proud to let you know
just unsure
and insecure

So I've written down these modest words
maybe I'll post them through your door
but I don't want to make you feel
unsure
and insecure

I wasn't made to play this game!
and I'm not sure that I'll endure
still more waiting, hoping, dreaming
being unsure
and insecure
